All instructors are invited to attend Academic Technology’s winter events. Don’t miss these opportunities to meet your colleagues and expand your skills and knowledge. Institutes are hands-on, with interactive demonstrations and engaging activities, and of course, lunch and refreshments are included.

Academic Technology Winter Institute 2016

In this two-day institute you will explore campus-supported technologies and examine strategies for integrating technology into your courses. This institute is designed for those who are new to iLearn or would like to learn more about the wide array of technology tools and services available to instructors. 
• January 12 & 13, 2016 (Tue & Wed 9am to 4pm)

Advanced Quality Online Learning and Teaching (QOLT) Institute

This institute focuses on effective teaching strategies and best design practices for hybrid and fully online courses. Learn specific, concrete ways to quickly evaluate and improve your courses.
• January 14, 2016 (Thur 10am to 3pm)

Quality Online Learning and Teaching (QOLT) Peer Review Institute

In this institute you will learn about campus and system-wide initiatives for supporting quality online courses. Gain valuable skills, join a vibrant faculty learning community, and take your online course to the next level.
• January 15, 2016 (Fri 10am to 3pm)

Quickstart Webinar

This online webinar will orient you to campus course technologies and the basics of using iLearn. Find inspiration to explore more tools in your iLearn course to make teaching and learning more interactive both inside and outside of the classroom.
January 19, 2016 (Tue 12pm to 1pm)

To register please fill out the AT Institutes Registration Form. Enrollment is limited. SF State faculty who register by December 10, 2015 will receive priority. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
